Housing Society

Elim Housing Society (EHS) is a Christian not-for-profit society incorporated in 1996 under the Society Act of British Columbia.

• Its purpose is to develop housing and other facilities for seniors and to operate these accommodations based on Christian values.
• Its vision is to provide a full range of seniors’ housing and services all on one site so that spouses would not have to be separated and no one would have to move away from this community as care needs increase.
  

The Society operates closely with two organizations that are registered charities:

• Elim Christian Care Society is a service provider contracted by EHS to provide care service to Elim Village, primarily focusing on the Emerald and the Harrison residences.
• Elim Foundation raises funds through charitable gifts and planned giving to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the society and its endeavours.
