Independent Living

Residents live completely independently with no formal care service at all. Yet a common bond of faith and a sense of community means they are quick to help lend a hand to a neighbour in need. Activities and events are self-initiated and organized. They vary from social games nights to creative writing classes, from casual gatherings to formal village-wide events.

Elim Village offers 36 duplex and 161 condo independent living units, which are sold as life lease agreements. The four condo buildings also house a library, exercise room, multi-purpose room, fireside lounges, woodworking shops and more. The condo buildings and the 15,000 square foot amenity center – the Oasis – are all connected via the underground parking.
