Financial Blessings
In 1992 a small group of visionaries collected the necessary funds to establish the Elim Foundation, making it possible to distribute tax receipts to individuals willing to contribute towards what some might have considered to be a rather audacious goal of developing a Christian retirement village. The foundation was instrumental in Elim with some of its early development costs.
In 1996, this very active group appealed to approximately 70 people to form a Limited Partnership, each person pledging $25,000 for a total of $1,750,000 thereby raising the capital needed to secure the lands.
A large percentage of the existing developed property has been financed through private investments. This method of raising building capital has proven to be financially perceptive in accomplishing our goals.
From the onset, Elim has been blessed with financial supporters who believe in this unique calling from God to provide all levels of seniors’ housing and care on one site in a Christian atmosphere. These acts of kindness and generosity continue today.
